The NRCTP prides itself in the quality of its tag rewards and recapture reports. The information you provide in this survey can only improve our efforts. We care that people who take the time to return tags to us are pleased with how their efforts are rewarded, both in terms of tag rewards and fish recapture information.

We have designed this questionnaire to improve our understanding of what motivates people to return fish tags. In turn, this will improve the accuracy with which we are able to interpret tag returns, but your answers will also help future tagging studies on various species to maximize their tag returns and design tagging studies which are not only useful scientifically, but which also appeal to and prove rewarding for the respective fishing communities.
